Lead in Children's Toys and Jewelry

The recent high profile recalls of children's toys, jewelry, and clothing items has raised awareness of the dangers of high levels of lead in consumer products. The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) have proposed stricter limits on the amount of lead in child accessible items.

Northeast Laboratory is listed with the CPSC for performing Lead analysis on children's toys and jewelry.
