Garrett Johnson has deep roots in the Connecticut laboratory industry as his grandfather owned and operated a dairy lab and his father was integral to the founding and growth of Northeast Laboratories. Garrett is a graduate of the University of Connecticut (B.A.) and a graduate of the Quinnipiac University School of Law (J.D.) with over twenty years of experience in the business. Garrett has expertise in regulatory compliance and has been an asset over the years at Northeast Laboratories in building their drinking water, nutritional, and medical marijuana testing programs. As President and Director of Operations, Garrett is thrilled to lead a team of talented professionals in meeting the analytical testing challenges of the future.

Born and raised in Connecticut, Zack pursued a B.S. followed by a Ph.D. in Chemistry at the University of Connecticut.  While attending UConn, Zack’s research focused on organic chemistry as a member of the Peczuh Research Group, and his graduate career also included an internship at the pharmaceuticals company, Boehringer Ingelheim. Upon graduating, Dr. Cannone entered the analytical testing industry with a special interest in cannabis products. In 2020, Zack joined the Northeast Laboratories family where he transformed the cannabis department. Now, Zack leads our team in the rigorous analysis of samples from all departments!
