Yes, we can test your cannabis!

Northeast Laboratories is fully equipped and licensed to provide comprehensive testing for cannabis and cannabis products. Whether you’re a licensed grower, a home grower in Connecticut, or part of the cannabis industry, we offer testing for potency, terpenes, pesticides, heavy metals, microbial contaminants, and more.

For licensed growers, we ensure compliance with state regulations. For home growers, we help you understand the quality and safety of your product.

I am a grower in another state. Can I submit samples?

Although many states have legalized cannabis, it is still illegal under federal law and is therefore illegal to bring cannabis across state lines. We are currently only able to accept samples from Connecticut growers.

If you have grown or produced hemp, or a hemp based product, then your sample can be dropped off or mailed to us for testing.

What tests does my product need?

The tests your product needs depend on your status as a licensed grower, home grower, or hemp producer:

• Licensed Growers: Products intended for state registration require a full panel of tests, including potency, terpenes, heavy metals, pesticides, microbial contaminants, and residual solvents. These tests ensure compliance with Connecticut regulations, and we can guide you through the registration process.

• Home Growers: While full panel testing isn’t required, we recommend potency and contaminant testing to ensure the quality and safety of your cannabis for personal use.

• Hemp Producers: Hemp products are subject to specific federal and state regulations. Testing typically includes potency, heavy metals, pesticides, and residual solvents to confirm compliance and safety.

How do you get my samples?

For licensed cannabis producers, you can schedule a pickup with us.

For home growers interested in testing their product, samples may be submitted in person at our Rocky Hill facility.

Hemp samples may be be dropped off or mailed.
